The small monument was erected by the Nelson Aero Club back in Nov 1957 “on the occasion of the Clubs 25th Anniversary, where it stands today next to the new Stoke Tennis courts.
Kind of fitting that today’s Nelson Airport is on the north western flanks of Stoke too. Nelson airports international IATA code is NSN………
something I thought for Nelsons sake, I had to remind Bieber fans about on Twitter yesterday.
