What was unusual was the fact that one plane (on the left of the photo) appeared to be conducting a 180 degree turn, very unusual for ours skies.

Saturday 17th July in Nelson is……..

The annual Blessing of the Fishing Fleet day.

Although the weather conspired to offer up a very non-Nelson type of day, many folks still turned out and parking was at a premium around the Quay.
